Fox fall trailers: Exorcist, Lethal Weapon, 24: Legacy, more



The Exorcist

(Fridays at 9 p.m. ET)
A modern reinvention inspired by William Blatty’s original 1971 book,The Exorcist is a propulsive, serialized psychological thriller following two very different men tackling one family’s case of horrifying demonic possession, and confronting the face of true evil. Jeremy Slater will write and executive-produce with James Robinson, Rolin Jones, David Robinson, Barbara Wall, and Rupert Wyatt. Geena Davis, Brianne Howey, Hannah Kasulka, Kurt Egyiawan, Alfonso Herrera, Ben Daniels, and Alan Ruck will star.
 

Lethal Weapon

(Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET)
When Texas cop and former Navy SEAL Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) suffers the loss of his wife and baby, he moves to Los Angeles to start anew. There, he gets partnered with LAPD detective Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans, Sr.), who, having recently suffered a “minor” heart attack, must avoid any stress in his life. Matt Miller will write and executive-produce with Dan Lin, Jennifer Gwartz, and McG. Keesha Sharp, Jordana Brewster, and Kevin Rahm will also star.
 

Son of Zorn

(Sundays at 8:30 p.m. ET)
Featuring the voice of Jason Sudeikis, the hybrid family comedy follows an animated warrior from a faraway island in the Pacific Ocean, who returns to Orange County, CA, to win back his live-action ex-wife (Cheryl Hines) and teenage son (Johnny Pemberton). Reed Agnew and Eli Jorne will write and executive-produce with Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Seth Cohen, Sally McKenna and Eric Appel.

(Midseason, Mondays at 9 p.m. ET)
A tech billionaire (Justin Kirk) purchases a troubled police precinct in the wake of a loved one’s murder, but can this eccentric and enigmatic figure’s cutting-edge approach fix the broken ways of these police veterans? Matt Nix will write and executive-produce with Len Wiseman, Dennis Kim, Todd Hoffman, and Robert Friedman. Natalie Martinez, Caitlin Stasey, Taylor Handley, Eric Winter, Ernie Hudson, and Tamberla Perry will also star.
 

Pitch

(Spring, Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET)
Pitch follows a young female pitcher (Kylie Bunbury) who defies the odds when she becomes the first woman to play in the major leagues. Dan Fogelman and Rick Singer will write and executive-produce with Tony Bill, Helen Bartlett, Jess Rosenthal, Kevin Falls, and Paris Barclay. Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Ali Larter, Mo McRae, Meagan Holder, Tim Jo, Dan Lauria, Mark Consuelos, and Bob Balaban will also star.


Making History

(Midseason, Sundays at 8:30 p.m. ET)
Making History tells the story of three friends who try to balance the adventure of time travel with the mundane concerns of their present-day lives. Julius Sharpe will write and executive-produce with Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Seth Cohen. Adam Pally, Leighton Meester, and Yassir Lester star.


The Mick

(Midseason, Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET)
The Mick follows a hard-living, foul-mouthed woman (Kaitlin Olson) who moves to affluent Greenwich, Connecticut, to raise the spoiled kids of her wealthy sister who has fled the country to avoid a federal indictment. She quickly learns what the rest of us already know — other people’s children are awful. John Chernin and Dave Chernin will write and executive-produce with Nick Frenkel, Oly Obst, and Randall Einhorn, who will helm the pilot. Sofia Black D’Elia, Carla Jimenez, Thomas Barbusca, Jack Stanton, and Susan Park also star.


Star

(Midseason, Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET)
Three talented singers (newcomers Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny and Brittany O’Grady), desperate for a new start and with ambitions of stardom, navigate the cut-throat music business on their road to success. Headlined by Queen Latifah and Benjamin Bratt, with a soundtrack of original music and stunning music performances, the series also features guest star and Grammy Award winner Lenny Kravitz. Lee Daniels will executive produce with Tom Donaghy, Pamela Oas Williams, and Effie Brown.


24: Legacy

(Post-Super Bowl debut on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 10 p.m. ET, then moves to Mondays at 9 p.m. ET)
Corey Hawkins, Miranda Otto, and Jimmy Smits will star in the new show, which follows a race to prevent a deadly terrorist attack on the United States. Howard Gordon, Brian Grazer, Manny Coto, Evan Katz, and Stephen Hopkins will serve as executive producers alongside Sutherland.
 

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

(October 2016)
In a brand-new reimagining of the cult-classic midnight movie 40 years in the making, sweethearts Janet (Victoria Justice) and Brad (Ryan McCartan) stumble upon flirtatious mad scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s (Laverne Cox) bizarre abode during his annual Transylvanian science convention. The two-hour event also features Emmy Award nominee Tim Curry, the original Frank-N-Furter.
 

Prison Break

(Midseason, Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET)
The next chapter in the Prison Break saga picks up when clues surface suggesting the previously believed-to-be-dead Michael (Wentworth Miller) may actually be alive. Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) and Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) reunite to engineer the series’ biggest escape ever as three of Fox River State Penitentiary’s most notorious escapees, T-Bag (Robert Knepper), C-Note (Rockmond Dunbar), and Sucre (Amaury Nolasco), are pulled back into the action. The original producing team of Paul T. Scheuring, Neal Moritz, Marty Adelstein, and Dawn Olmstead will executive-produce the event series, with Scheuring set as showrunner and writer.
 

Shots Fired

(Spring, Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET)
A compelling event series examining the dangerous aftermath of racially charged shootings in a small Southern town. The timely series stars Sanaa Lathan, Stephan James, Helen Hunt, Richard Dreyfuss and Stephen Moyer.
