New Delhi: Thousands of devotees on Wednesday joined the funeral procession of departed Sant Nirankari Mission head Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj as it proceeded towards the Nigam Bodh Crematorium Ground where his last rites will be performed at 12:00 noon on Wednesday.

-Several roads in the national capital choked with lakhs of devotees out on the streets to pay last respects to the departed leader.
-Head of Funeral procession of Late Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj has reached Nirankari Sarovar Gate, says Delhi Traffic Police.
-Motorists are advised to take alternate route, says a Delhi Traffic Police advisory.
-Traffic is closed from Kingsway Camp to Burari Road due to heavy pedestrian movement.
-Lakhs of devotees of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj have poured into the Samagam Ground No. 8 in Burarai, Delhi for Antim Darshan.
-Delhi Police issues a traffic advisory urging commuters to avoid certain roads.

The Sant Nirankari Mission had made special arrangements for devotees who can’t make it personally, they can follow the last rites (Antim Sanskar) proceedings through live streaming by logging on to live.nirankari.org.
The live telecast will continue until the last rites of spiritual head is performed at the Nigam Bodh Crematorium.
The proceedings will cover the 'Antim Yatra' from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon, from Ground No 8 upto Nigam Bodh Ghat. Also the proceedings of the special congregation (Shradhanjali Samaroh) in Ground No 2 will also be webcast live from 4.00 pm onwards, said a press release issued by Sant Nirankari Mission.
The mortal remains of Avneet Setya, younger son-in-law of Baba hardev Singh, who also died in Canada on Friday, has also been placed next to the mortal remains of Baba Hardev Singh.
The 62-year-old spiritual head of Sant Nirankari Mission was travelling from New York to Montreal in a car along with his two son-in-law Avneet and Sandeep Khinda last Friday, when his ill-fated car crashed and two of them (Baba hardev Singh and Navneet) succumbed to their injuries.
 While Sandeep also known as Sunny survived the car crash.
The spiritual head of more than 1 crore devotees was in Canada ahead of the Nirankari International Samagam (NIS) that was scheduled in June in Toronto. Soon after the death of Baba Hardev singh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolence to the family members and devotees of the sect head.
